I always love shopping at Vainglorious and have been a loyal customer since they opened.
They have an amazing range of products that are often unique, and are constantly updating their stock with new and exciting ranges. They are also very aware of how my needs have changed over time and always seem to know what to recommend for me and my family. It is a running theme that birthdays and Christmas will always have a vainglorious gift there somewhere! The shop is beautifully laid out and is warm and welcoming. I am very much looking forward to the new web shopping experience!

A great shop full of little luxuries. Customer service was great too with advice on colours and how to use products. By far the best shop in Halstead.

on my visits to your shop albeit a few, I have always received that excellent "personal service" so lacking these days! I have always had good advice from a knowledgeable salesperson and will continue to visit when and as I can! Well done and long may it last!

I was told of Vainglorious by a few different people and in doing so, got an idea of its excellent reputation. Being a fella, I am a little out of my depth when it comes to anything regarding health and beauty, but the shop owner Claire was extremely knowledgeable and helpful in directing me towards a product called ‘Fresh Heads’. I used the product and was amazed with the results. The thing which was even more pleasing, were the compliments I was receiving from a couple of young ladies about the ‘fragrance’ I was wearing! Had it not been for Vainglorious and the help from Claire, then I would never have known about this product. I have since been back to the shop a number of times to buy their 'Trevarno' soap to use in the shower, as well as various items for friends and family.
I really cannot recommend them enough… even if you are a bloke!

As a long term eczema sufferer I have struggled with High Street brands of make-up and lotions to help protect my skin and maintain a healthy complexion.

I just wanted to say a big thank you for doing such an amazing job for my wedding make-up on the 19th of June. The make-up was beautiful, and everyone was really happy with it. You were a very calming presence to have around with all those ladies to beautify that morning! We had an incredible day and my make-up lasted all through the night until I finally went to bed at 4.30am!

I brought the Gentleman’s Cleansing Foam, on recommendation from Claire, it is excellent and i have fully switched to this from another salon brand that I used to use, the fresh smell and the fact that my face feels great after use. All products that I have used from Vainglorious have been excellent – Mark White (happy client)

With a young teenager suffering the trials and tribulations of adolescent skin and a market full of products the personal service and expert advice we received from Vainglorious was second to none the products are amazing and effective.

Being a keen triathlete, i am constantly in & out of the swimming pool & subject my skin to harsh weather conditions when on my bike. This dries my facial skin & causes problems when shaving. I was recommended to seek advice from Vainglorious. Claire @ Vainglorious spent time with me choosing the right product from which was the Green People SPF15 Day Solution. It is easy to use & a great handy sized bottle to carry around. Claire also recommended other solutions to clear a number of skin & hair conditions. Thank you Claire

I was so pleased with the advice and service I received at Vainglorious, I had severe dry skin on my face and couldn't get an appointment at the doctors, I went to see Claire in the hope she could help and she advised me to use one of her products (Suki Butter Cream Salve) and now I wouldn't use anything else!
